healing scriptures for when you feel attacked

Next week I will be sharing with a group of women here in Nashville on the theme of “Stewarding the Voice God Gave You”, and as I’ve spent the past few weeks preparing, I have had a deep sense that many in the room - and perhaps YOU reading this - have experienced hurt when using your voice.

I certainly have…

The enemy is strategic about drawing a straight line between using your voice and experiencing hurt, because his ultimate goal is for you to either use your voice in retaliation (thus causing more hurt to yourself as well as others) or to self-silence in an effort to protect yourself from further pain.

Don’t let him win…

If you or someone you care about has experienced this, BE ENCOURAGED…. you are not alone, AND we have a higher hope that is bigger than our adversaries. Here are a few scriptures I have found helpful in such times. I encourage you to see what resonates most with you, and write it down, claiming it every time the fear and pain start to rise.

God’s got you, friend. You WILL get through this, because He’s bigger than your adversary, and His will for you is to USE the voice He gave you, in a way that accomplishes HIS purposes.

For TRUTH…

PS. Make sure you’re walking in Christ-centered community, esp. when going through hard times. If you’re not sure where to find it, ask Jesus to help you discover a first step toward relationship, and then TAKE IT (smile). If you need some coaching to get you over the hump, feel free to reach out.
